FAQ

TW!ST — frequently asked questions

Quick, plain answers about TW!ST: what it is, how you play, what time The Drop is, and how it stays skill-based and free.

What is TW!ST?

TW!ST is football's what-if game, made by Snapify Ltd. You take a real football moment, turn it into a yes/no "what-if" question, and lock your call. Every day a simulation called The Drop settles every open scenario for points, streaks and bragging rights. It's free to play with virtual coins — there's no real-money betting.

Is TW!ST a football prediction game?

Yes — TW!ST is a free-to-play football prediction game, with a twist. Instead of only predicting what will happen in a match, you rewrite a real moment into a "what-if" and call that: put a different player on the ball, swap the shooter, change the decision, then predict the outcome. Lock your call before The Drop and a simulation settles it that night. It's prediction as a daily game of skill, not a bet — coins are virtual and have no cash value.

Is TW!ST like fantasy football?

Not quite — and that's the point. Fantasy football is a season-long commitment: you draft a squad and earn points from real-life player stats week after week. TW!ST is the fast, daily alternative — no squad to manage, no season to grind. You call one football what-if, it settles the same night at The Drop, and you climb the leaderboard on how well you read the game. If you like fantasy football or football prediction leagues, TW!ST scratches the same itch in a couple of taps.

Is TW!ST a football trivia quiz?

No. A football trivia quiz tests what you already know — past results, records, history. TW!ST is the opposite: it's a prediction game about what happens next. You're not recalling a known answer; you're rewriting a live moment and calling how it plays out, then a simulation reveals the result at The Drop. If you enjoy football quiz and trivia games, TW!ST is a fresh, forward-looking take on the same football-brain challenge.

What are football "what-if" moments?

A "what-if" moment is a real chance, save or miss from the night's games, re-run with one thing changed — "what if he'd shot first-time?", "what if a different striker was on the end of it?", "what if the keeper stayed on his line?". TW!ST turns these football what-if moments into yes/no calls you can lock, then a simulation plays each one out at The Drop so you finally get an answer to the argument.

How do you play TW!ST?

Four taps: pick a real Moment from the night's biggest games, twist it into a yes/no what-if ("Does he score it?"), lock your call by staking virtual coins, then watch it settle at The Drop. Right calls bank coins and grow your streak.

What time is The Drop?

The Drop runs every day at 7:00 PM UK time (19:00 London). Because TW!ST has a worldwide audience, the app and website show a live countdown and convert The Drop into your local time automatically — so wherever you are, you'll know exactly when it starts. For reference, 7:00 PM UK is about 2:00 PM New York, 11:00 AM Los Angeles, 8:00 PM Berlin/Paris, and 11:30 PM in India (these shift by an hour with daylight saving).

Is TW!ST gambling? Can I win real money?

No. TW!ST is a free-to-play prediction game, not a betting or gambling product. You play with virtual coins that have no cash value and cannot be cashed out. There is no real-money betting, no wagering, and no cash payouts of any kind. It rewards skill — reading the game better than your mates — not luck or stakes.

Is TW!ST free to play?

Yes. TW!ST is free to play and no purchase is necessary. There may be optional in-app purchases of virtual coin packs, but you never need to spend to play, and coins have no real-world value.

What devices does TW!ST run on?

TW!ST is a mobile app for iOS and Android, launching soon. You can join the waitlist on the homepage to be notified the moment it goes live on the App Store and Google Play.

What are Squads?

Squads turn TW!ST into a weekly title race with your friends. Pull your group chat into a Squad and every scenario becomes a contest — leaderboards reset on Mondays, gauntlets reward calling it together, and the receipts last forever. Some Squads are 18+.
